New holidays flights to Turkey for you now, a new winter sun getaway offer has been introduced by Pegasus, giving UK holidaymakers the chance to jet off to sunnier climes for less this winter.
Continuing to expand its route network from the UK, the airline also unveiled a new direct service from London Stansted to Izmir in Turkey for the summer 2011 season.
Turkey’s third largest city after Istanbul, Izmir is known as ‘the pearl of the Aegean’. The city is renowned for its vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere. But with a long history, Izmir is also home to a wide selection of fascinating museums and a thriving thermal spa scene.
Conveniently situated near the Cesme peninsula, visitors to Izmir will have easy access to great windsurfing resorts, the holiday resort of Kusadasi and the ancient cities of Ephesus and Bergama.
The new direct service between London Stansted and Izmir will run from 1 May to 29 October 2011.
The launch of this new direct flight connection to Turkey adds to the wide range of services operating between the UK and Turkey.
